Summary:

As a Data Engineer at FutureSoft, you will architect and build scalable data pipelines that power analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence. You’ll work with large datasets, design efficient data models, and develop ETL processes to support data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, or Kafka

  • Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting

  • Collaborate with data scientists to prepare data for modeling

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through validations and monitoring

  • Implement data storage solutions such as data lakes, warehouses, and databases

  • Deploy and manage data infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.)

  • Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, Scala, or Java)

  • Familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Azure Synapse)

  • Excellent data modelling and problem-solving skills
